Our story

Si was born from a feeling we wanted to share.

We’re Stuart and Mimi — partners in life, parents to two little ones, and locals on the Sunshine Coast. We also have close family in Western Australia, and during time spent in Perth we were introduced to contrast therapy in a way that felt deeply woven into everyday life.

When we moved back to the Sunshine Coast, we noticed how few spaces allowed for a truly spacious, traditional Finnish sauna experience — one where you can move freely between heat and cold, and listen to your own body rather than follow a set structure. We missed that freedom. Not just the heat and the cold, but the way it slowed you down, opened conversation, and made time feel intentional.

For us, sauna and ice has always been a beautiful way to catch up with friends, set ourselves up for the day, or unwind after a big week. We’re ocean-loving, easy-going people who value feeling good and staying connected — to ourselves and to each other.

Si is our way of bringing that feeling home.
